The Rebellion

Just when I thought the mono was getting better...

I think I pushed it too hard yesterday. I've never raced as hard and determined as I did when I was chasing Margaret's attack. I've never raced so hard that I could feel my body give up long before I was ready to stop. It felt good while it lasted. Too bad all it got me was burned out and a bad case of full-on mono rebellion.

I'm no doctor, but I know when I had mono 10 years ago, they (they being those that are, in fact, doctors) told me not to exercise at all until I felt relatively normal. I took about a month off and then had the best form of my life to that point within another month.

Great. No exercise. Just what a fitness instructor loves to hear. I can feel the fat cells multiplying already.

Actually, I think my racing season is over. I'm planning to take it easy for a while. I just wanted to have one last hurrah last weekend. Hurrah!

Thanks, Turbo!

You need your mother here to tell you to take it easy. In your mother's absence will tell you to TAKE IT EASY! Get feeling better!
